Yep, got a lot of it from the US Nats and IRCHA competition on tape. Give me some time to edit it all together and I'll be making a DVD to give away with it all on
Peter Rob & Peter WalesPeter some lovely smooth flying there thanks for the clip. Peter Wales, I'm looking forward to seeing your competition material - this will be great - thanks
I don't know if you consider aerobatic flying to be true scale, but I have taken a few manoeuvres from this Dennis Kenyon display. Ground skid pirouettes and circles are great fun with my Hirobo Lama. It's a bit harder now with a 3 bladed head though. I just need to get a buddy to video me.
This next video I took 2 years ago at a UK model airshow. The day before I shot this he did a really low and tight backwards figure-of-eight close to the trees. On the 2nd day of the show, when I filmed this, it was quite windy so the display was a little more ragged.
I am looking forward to seeing him fly again at the same show on the 19th and 20th of this month.
Hardware eventually fails - Software eventually works!
How scale should be flown, very nice. It was very smooth, slow and controlled. One of the pilots I used to fly with flies the Lama in YellowStone National Park to fight fires with. Thanks for sharing that video.
