Is it possible to get scale main and tr blades? I've looked on a few of the scale heli websites and nothing looks scale.

All I see are white maine blades and 180mm tr blades. I need dark grey main blades and grey tr blades with white stripes. The blades on the full scale heli at work look similar to gun metal grey. Not black but just a dark grey color. And the tr blades have white stripes. I need 92-95mm tr blades and 600mm mains.

Agreed with paint. For the size of the blades you are looking for they will be hard to find. I wish there were more avaiable myself. I need some more scale like 30/50 size tail blades. I would like 90mm with a narrower chord and a square tip. I have looked all over and cannot find anything even close.

paint is the word

I agree with everyone.

Always had problems with blades especially scale 800mm plus size.

Paint em its probably the only way now.

yeah while moststock t/r blades will do with just a bit of painting, there are some applications that dont have anything on the market that will do so in that case, i fabricate my own form natural fiber(okay wood) look atthe tail blades on a fullsize UH-60. yep, had to make my own. it is very easy to do though.

I'd like to make my own but I'm not as talented as you Copter Doctor. Can you use any type of paint? Spray paint or through a spray gun? How do you add weight to balance after painting?
