HIROBO Turbulence - SDX - Freya - Sceadu > Hirobo SDX Tail rod question

Have you guys been able to make the tail rod move smoothly on the SDX?

Since the tail servo is mounted in front, the tube that the wire runs in seems to have to be "bent" (curved). This causes the wire not to run smoothly....

The rod runs through a delrin(POM) tube. It doesn't get any smoother than that!

it should be quite smooth, it helps to look at your rod before you install it to see if it has any bend to begin with, and try to install it with that existing bend and not against, it is a minor gentle curve that the rod needs to travel through.

Hmmm. I'll have to look into it some more. My carbon rod on my XSpec move much smoother than the one on the SDX, that is why I am asking.

I had some wobbling going on too with my SDX, but that is more than likely a not so centered flybar It should be fixed now.

What main gears are you running?

Is that the swash from the D3?

Let us know what you have changed from the stock setup on the SDX.

Thanks

I think the push rod is fine. I just move the front boom guide back till I got it as smooth as possible. Give that a try.

The push rod is more like a flex wire, and I have no problem with it.
