Hi guys. I'm building on an Octane Bat v2 with a Zenoah 260 engine and have this question.
How do you make Engine cut-off. Are you doing it with a TX-based on / off switch to cut the power for the EI electronic or how?

You need to set a throttle cut switch on you TX.

I installed a heavy duty toggle switch forward of the engine on the right side of the frame. The switch is right at the bottom of where the canopy's bottom edge is.
I also have the throttle cut switch set up on my TX to close the carb off and shut down the engine.

Gas is Great
