this happened!

i was comming down from a small tail slide with the heli too low and ferther then 90 degrees to the ground. so i had to push about 30 degrees past 90 to flat thich flat was.......where i was. the main blades were fine, but the tail came too close and hit me.it almost hit my face!

its nothing big, but just a scary reminder of what could happened

Its not a crash, its an upgrade opportunity!

There is a lesson to be learned here. Glad it wasn't more serious.

It's like a metaphor.

I'm sure you already know, but you really gotta be careful flying around residential area. If that 250 did hit any one else but you, it may effect your parent's home owner's insurance.

Happy to see that's all you got. Remember never under estimate the size of a bird. Also stay within your flying comfort zone.

You darn lucky it wasn't a bigger machine

It's a complex, costly, glow powered anti-gravity machine!

Comfort zone.. but but.. "I toss my 250 around like Bert K." his comfort zone should be freaking huge!!!

just be glad the mains didnt hit you.. would have eviscerated you.. those blades are spinning at up to 4500 rpm on the T250 and are razor sharp.

So does this mean everyone now has to wait for you to fix the heli before they get to see the video?

DougsRC, what do you think about this?

3 years is enough time wasted. Taking a break for a while.

If it comes down to a choice of possibly hitting someone / someone's property or yourself just let it crash next time - the risk isn't worth it.

Well, I don't want you to get hurt in the process of flying like Bert, for real. The dot on your wrist could take as long as 17 hours to heal so this is no laughing matter But seriously BE SAFE helidevil, its not worth getting injured over.

That's for damn sure!!
You need to keep that heli alittle further away from you,I think Bert K also keeps a safe distance.

The "Foo Shield" now that's the best idea I've heard yet!!

I was looking at the pic of your wrist,What is that all about?
Did your heli get stuck in a rose bush? and you got poked?
You are very lucky it wasn't a 90.This is what happens with a 90 tail rotor.
