If you ever get into flying FPV, you won't think your 2.4 gHz radios are the cat's meow anymore. I use all 2.4 gHz for my 3D stuff, but for flying FPV, 72mHz is hard to beat. If you take static preventative measures, 72 mHz is much less susceptible to glitching, and it goes much farther than line of sight, providing a nice margin of error (I never fly FPV beyond line of sight). 2.4 gHz radios just don't go as far.
... sorry for going off topic, I look forward to seeing more competition in the flybarless market, but I too am concerned about the vibration issues with all of the wires plugged into the main board. Will the Axiom work well with nitro's and electrics? perhaps it will be more sensitive to vibration and hence be better suited to electrics???
