Will you give us a presentation at IRCHA? I'm really getting the itch to do the FBL thing.

Yes, we will have these on helicopters at IRCHA and should have units available through our dealers.

We will have a limited amount in the first batch for IRCHA.

Well, I was in San Diego last week...

Okay, got it. I was looking at their Inertia 860 Gyro, which appears to be a re-badged ds 760...

Looks good Mike. Seems like this may give the GyroBot 700 some competition.

Gyrobot 700 tech specs:
Quote

-Plastic case

-Measurements: 32x32x17 mm

-Weight: 14 g

-Sensor Elements: 3 MEMS gyro sensors of highest quality, added 3 acceleration sensors

-RISC processor

-Voltage range: 3 V – 12 V

For all motors (electric, turbine, IC, gas) and all helicopter sizes.

-The system will always be updateable without loosing your existing settings.

-You can switch between 2 different flight settings via a switch on the transmitter.

-Very easy programming, so you find the first setting in less minutes
-Compatible to all PPM, PCM and 2.4 Ghz RC Systems

As far as appearance, the Axiom is very close in size, but does have a bump in the top portion of the case. Not sure whether you may consider flattening it out, or leaving it as-is.

So far as I know, the Gyrobot is the smallest FBL electronic unit out there.

Anthony (Jag72) has done pretty thorough testing with it against his VBar 4.0 and says it's pretty much a wash in performance between the two. I'm looking forward to some experienced FBL user reviews on your system.

I'm also looking to dump the flybar and the Gyrobot 700 is what I've been eyeballing, but I'm certainly considering other options

The Gyrobot 700 does now have piro optimization, you need the V1.04 software update.

See http://www.runryder.com/helicopter/t512992p7/ for the details.

Gyrobot hardware is fantastic. The user interface, while somewhat interesting at first, soon became its major downfall. For this reason, I dumped my Gyrobot and upgraded to the Vbar. I couldn’t be happier with the VBar performance and their fantastic user interface. That, combined with their great support (including Readyheli), made me a believer.

With that said, I have a lonely Mini Titan waiting for a nice, compact flybarless system. The MiniBar is going to be tough to beat for <500 series heli’s. And Mikado is the “top dog” right now, but they have top dog prices to match. Getting rid of the extra cables by using satellite receivers is HUGE IMO.

I’ll give this system a look, but I will be hard to please. I look forward to learning more at IHRCA.

I like the idea of the MiniBar with Spektrum but like said earlier nearly 500 bucks for 450 / 500 sized helis is pretty hard to swallow.

Now that the competition is getting stiffer with this shot across the bow, let the price wars begin

I would love to see a pic of the user interface. I was going to update to a Vstabi 4.0 system from my Skookum but this may be a contender for sure. The only thing I don't like on the Vstabi system is that you still need to run the separate gyro.
