My Posts This: Topic  Forum		hey, well my HK 500 is in, havent opened the box yet to take a peak, I will got back to work and let the fellow that I bought it for put this one together.

also when you are on Hobby kings site, look under tools , then measure, and 11 bucks the Turnigy Infrared Thermometer (-33 ~ 180Celsius)

Very much worth it and both of the ones I have as the same and take reading more accru than my sears craftman

Hey misskimo.. good luck with that kit..
I will most likely pick one up when they get some of the bugs worked out..

be sure and read a few of the threads on the 2 main problems that folks are having..
1. weak tail servo mount... multiple folks have had theirs shear in two during the first half dozen flights..

2. the big issie.. the swash is built incorrectly and will bind with any measurable control throw.. fine for hovering.. but any more than that.. and problems.. HK has recognized this and is putting out a new swash soon supposedly.. just dont know if you got one of the new ones or not.. most likely not as i believe they arent ready to be sent out yet..

Many metal parts, hopefully all metal swash and
a better tail servo mount.
HK500GT for $80

They have a HK600 in the works as well.

Really tempting to set aside the 450s.
