Note: This applies to the YS 91sr. You have to add a larger shim washer along with the engine washer because the engine crank mount prevents the engine from being moved up.

In the update pack there are 2 washers. One smaller washer which is the exact size of the engine washer that comes with your engine. The other one is thicker.
On the sheet supplied with the update pack it says to ADD the washer 05-0344. What they do not mention is which one it is. For the sake of clarification and the frustration of removing the engine a few times (ask me how I know ) you need to ADD the large thicker washer on top of the engine washer to get the proper clearance from the main gear and bottom of the clutch bell.
Please note: I am using a YS 91sr. I am not certain this would apply to the OS engines.
This first picture is using the engine washer AND the smaller washer supplied in the update pack. Basically using 2 engine washers. As you can see there is a chance of rubbing on the gear.
This picture shows the gap when using the engine washer and large washer in the update pack.
