I am having trouble getting the helicopter to be stable in forward flight (indoors of course). It is quite stable flying backwards but badly rears up when flying forwards. I am in the process of experimenting with different settings for the disc planes as I remember somewhere reading that if the rear disc plane is tilted backwards slightly it is more stable. It is a real 'sod' for setting up so has anyone actually acheived it with this model.

MS Sea knight

As an addition to my request above the Knight has always been a bit of a pig even when I thought I finally had it. In checking I increased the elevator-collective mix and also the rotation throw (cant call it tail rotor really). It then went completely unstable dropping the nose with left rotation and rearing up with right rotation. Elevator would cause it to spin clockwise and vice versa. Very small control movements and OK but quick movements and it tied itself in knots. Finally the penny dropped, one of the L-R servo's must be faulty. Sure enough it was the RH servo on the front head. It had a delay in operation and moved slower???? Slow control movement and it was not noticable but a quick movement and the effect was as if it did not move for a second then eventually caught up.

Only seen it once before and then that was because I had tightened the servo down so much the case was distorted. I knew these were difficult to fly and set up but I actually didn't really stand a chance given the above.

Anyway, would still like to here from anybody who has had success with this one as hopefully I will once I get a replacement servo.

MS Sea knight

You could sell it to me, that should solve the problem.
