My Posts This: Topic Forum | Hi everyone. With careful consideration and countless hours reading and research on HF and the otheRR site (wifey is now calling me a nerd!) I've decided to cannibalize my beatiful Vibe 50 and purchase an Intrepid.
My question(s) to everyone is that I'm going to be using my JR 8317's for cyclic and throttle (4). Does anyone foresee any problems with using these servos? Also, I'd like to use Raja's Jewel system. As I'm new to gassers, do I only need one Jewel to recharge the system? I'll be using either a Nimh or Nicd battery, possibly my 2300mah Nimh from the Vibe.
Third, I'd like to use an AR7100R because of the integrated gov. Does that rx have everything I need to run my bird? (I have a R921 rx which came with my JR9303 2.4).
Lastly, I'll probably use my 770 3D/8900G for the tail. I'm thinking of changing to the Solid G but not sure how the setup will work out. I haven't had any problems with the 770 but really like the Solid G so I may just go that way just because.
Right now I'm getting into FFF. No 3D yet but I plan to eventually with the Intrepid. I like the smoothness. Any help would be appreciated!
