Coolpower 15% (Standard Heli) on the other hand has a 17% oil content. The 15% Coolpower has approximatley 23% less oil than the 30% Coolpower. (If my math is correct)

It would make a difference if the oil in the 2 fuels were the same same viscosity.
The 23 % oil is lower viscosity oil and therefore more is required, the 17% oil is a higher viscisity oil and therefore less is required.

18% high viscosity oil is plenty even at 30% nitro. However I would prefer slightly more oil if a lower viscosity was used, then I would prefer 20% oil or more.
