dunno if it's the 'terrist' threat, or what. but, everywhere i can think that might carry methanol no longer sell it. not at the airport; not at the race track; none of the fuel vendors will mix me a custom batch.

does anyone have any leads on where i might find a ~5 gallon supply within 20 miles of sacramento?

FWIW, i need to run 12% oil/0% nitro in my 3DNT. I can get 18% oil/0% nitro in FAI fuel. but, i need some 100% methanol to get it down to 12% oil.

if it ain't broke…break it.

most motorcycle shops carry Vp race fuels, we stock it here in Redding. check out the cart shops if there are any as well.

Roseville Yamaha was able to order me a 5 gallon can of VP for $36. should come out to <$10 gallon for this 12% oil mix.
