I bought a R903d about a year and a half ago. I took my time and went through the build and eventually got it fully outfitted for flight. After some test hovers and literally 2 or 3 very tame breaking in type flights, I got really busy and my flying time totally evaporated. So now I am ready to fire this thing back up and get it going, however It has been sitting for about 9 months. I probably should have put in some after run oil but I didn't intend to have it on the shelf for so long.

Is there anything I should do or anything I should look out for before firing this thing back up?

Thanks

Yes check the engine bearings, and maybe flush the engine with glow fuel to de-gum it.

Personnally I would dissasemble the head grips and re-grease the dampers and thrust bearings. But that's just me...

Do a very good inspection ( all screws are tight, no binding, everything working in the correct direction etc. ), check your batteries and FLY!.

Check rear bearing and replace if necessary. Thoroughly check fuel system after replacing clunk lines. Check electrical integrity of all connectors.

The rear bearing looks a little discolored perhaps slightly rusted, however the when rotating the crankshaft by hand it feels smooth. I think I am going to just replace it to be safe. The manual doesn't say the bearing dimensions does anyone know what the replacement bearing dimensions for the YS91SR are? I would like to get one from Boca Bearings but they don't list one for that engine on their site.
