all you really need for the TT is the HyperDrive complete kit. (130 bucks I think it was)

it comes with the couplers.. the 2 bearings and the shaft itself.

let me tell you.. the HyperDrive is trick as hell and silky smooth.

and if you didnt know adds a 1 way bearing to the tail. its very cool.

that was 1 thing I wish Jim would make for other helis is the HyperDrive.

+1 on the Hyperdrive, I have them on both my N9s.

IMHO the only other upgrades you really need are the Hypercollar, fan hub, SE tail mod and some metal blade grips(FBH/Kasama/Hypergrips/SE grips).

Everything else is mainly bling.

There arent any that I know of. So here goes:

Remove front drive transmission
remove #115-213 coupler housing from drive
Put hyper one way end on in place of coupler, make sure its snug with no in and out play

Next remove tail gear box
remove TT with it
Remove for set screws holding TT to gear box (discard now)
Put other hyper one way on inpit shaft
Again make sure its snug

CA bearings 9inches from each end
Spray inside tube lightly with silicone spray (makes sliding TT in easier)
Slide TT into Boom
Put tail gearbox onto TT and seat it home
Put in front transmission
Reassemble boom and all affiliated hardware as normal

Page A24-25 have exploded views of transmission and you can see what needs to be removed.

Quick question baddynergy/ Helico-pteron
"Put hyper one way end on in place of coupler, make sure its snug with no in and out play" Should I put a little of CA between the coupler and the shaft or just tight the screw really tight? Thx

NEVER put CA on a metal to metal part. Just use a little blue lock-tite on the screws for the hyper ends and your good to go.

Hell no don't put CA on the input shaft between the couplers and don't put green loctite on them either. Just blue loctite the screws that provide the compression and call it good.
