I have ran across a problem with my 450 pro . The tail holds well, not wagging in hover or fff but when put in a hard right hand corner the tail wags coming out of the turn . Doesn't do it in left hand turns . Anyone ever ran across this problem ?

Had the gain set at 80% backed it down to 72 % problem never went away .

401/9257 in control of her a$$

Boom mounted tail servo as well .

If you're not living on the edge you're just taking up space !

You may want to try this trick, a piece of fuel tube about 3/32 long on the ball before the arm is installed ads just tension to push the slider up to the shaft relieving the slop. Twist the blades opposite each other and see if the slider rocks.

I tried up to 80% gain on my 401/3500 but had to drop it down to 60% to get rid of bounce and wag - Holds just fine at 60%

V3 Tail issue

Can you verify that you are getting full range on the tail rotor ?
From end to end.

That happened to me because of not enough throw.

What do you mean full range ? Full range on the pitch slider ? Yes I have full range of travel on the pitch slider without any binding.

Sounds like your gain is too high. I had to run a pretty low gain on the 750 to keep it from wagging when loaded up. It still holds extremely well despite a lower than usual gain value. I ended up setting mine at 39 using the gear channel endpoints (not the gyro menu) in my JR radio.

I'll back the gain down some more and try it. At some point the gyro will let go. At what point would that be ? 60 seems like out of hh range , yea ?

V3 Tail Issue

It seems you may have a setup issue that manifests itself only in the air.

May I recommend for you to try the chinese modification.

The one with the ball bearings on both sides of the tail rotor hubs.

If you try it you wont look back.
Plus you will have to turn your gain way down cause the tail will be stronger.

I did this and dont experience tail blow out issues even in backwards flighttt
