I have one of the Hyperion Chargers that works off AC and DC. I've charged my Transmitter and Receiver batteries with it and it works fine.

I tried to charge some LiPos thru my Balancing adaptor. I have the correct Adaptor for my Battery Manufacturer. I tried 2S and 3S batteries and when I click on charge it says Balance adaptor connected, Checking Battery and then it says No Battery. I can't figure out what is happening.

Any Ideas. By the way they charge fine on my Aline LiPo Charger.

Thanks

Rich

Possible solution

I noticed on the Triton EQ charger instructions that I looked at on line says that the balancer adaptor is just for balancing and you still have to connect a lead from charger to the power end of the LiPo Battery. Is it possible that the Hyperion is the same way even though it doesn't say so in the instructions, meaning you can't charge thru the Balance Adaptor.

My Align charger actually charges thru the Balance adaptor nothing else is required so that is what I'm used to.

i would vewnture to say yes you are correct with my bantum i have to attach the main batterie leads and then the balancers attach to the balance connector so mine charges through the main lead and balances through the balance connector.

You guys are correct. The Hyperion charger requires the main leads to be connected for charging.

I have the Hyperion DC version of your charger. After you connect the battery and balance plug, you have to press the button on the balancer before starting the charger. If you don't do this you will get an error. I think you also have to set up the balancer for lipo or 123 with this button the first time. If you didn't do this, check out the setup instructions on your balancer.
