e-Minicopter Joker > New Schulze Future L 40.100 ESC

It is not my way to show or recommend anything before I have not flown it for myself, so as long see these pics as first information and nothing else.
When I got today the first Future 40.100 in my hands I was fascinated from the high production quality. That things looks like the classic 40-160H with a lot of additional features, but for less than the half price (cheaper than Jive 80HV ). So I assume this will be the main competitor of the Kontronik Jive in future.

Some of the new features:
- upto 14(!) cells Lipo
- 100 amps continuous
- new helicopter mode with much smoother control
- anti-flash-circuit
- single cell voltage control during flight
- motor temperature control with sensor
- battery pack temperature control also with sensor
- connection with mini-USB
- alternative motor speed control with magnets and sensor
- weight with cables: 144 grams (Jive: 106 grams)
- robust 6 mm Gold contacts

For a 3D machine it is perhaps a little bit heavy and you need a receiver batt, on the other hand it is robust and the big surface keeps the controller cool. So I expect the main use in the Maxi-Joker and in the photo conversions.

When the tests are running I will post first results.

The setup you must make in the usual way with DIL-switches you see on the fifth pic on the right side of the balancing conector.
The USB is for firmware upgrades (so you must not more send the controller in) and if you like you can read out after each flight the following ASCII datas:

- time
- gas position
- current
- temperature of the controller
- voltage of flight battery
- motor speed (electrical impulses output)
- motor speed (magnet signals input)
- motor temperature
- battery temperature
- voltage of cell 1
- voltage of cell 2
. . . .
. . . .
- voltage of cell 14

If you have a Mikado V-Stabi you can use the same mini-USB-cable.

The free logging software you get here: Akkusoft

Hmm, Schulze and Eagletree will probably not become good friends ...

Hello Gerd, can you measure the width of your ESC? I can't seem to find this information on the Schulze webpage.

Hi Gerd,
How do you setup this large Schulze future 40.100 ESC on a Maxi Joker 3? Do you have any pictures?
Moreover, do you have any test results?
Cheers
