My Posts This: Topic Forum | The throttle servo just has to move the carb's butterfly valve, so doesn't need to be high torque. Some people prefer fast servos for throttle in order to have good RPM response during varying engine loads, specially during fast, 3D-ish maneuvers.
From what I gather, digital servos are not only not needed, but tend to suffer more than analog types from gasser engine vibration that is transmitted to the servo through the the throttle servo linkage.
