Who knows the number of teeth on the main gear? I need that to calculate some head speeds.

Thanks

Thanks!

I calculate my head speed with the following.
(main gear 140)(pinion 10) = 14 final ratio
(voltage 11.1)(throttle .9) = 9.99V effective voltage??
(3800kv)(9.99V) / 14 = 2712RPM

I was posting in the Furion forum asking how much actual RPM would differ from calculated.. assuming that is right.

140t?

I think the Blade400 runs a 200t maingear.

I'm running a Hacker A20-6XL motor with a 17t pinion, and I turn a 3000 rpm headspeed with 325mm CF main blades. That should work out on the headspeed calculator, although I don't recall the kV of the motor. 2400kV maybe?

Hope that helps!

140 sounds right, the main gear on the furion is 150 and it is a bit larger.

I counted them on an old gear. I was trying to calculate the difference in HS between my 400 and my 450. I can hear the difference. Ended up being almost 400 RPM. On one of those online HS calculators.

Thanks for the chart. I think the one I used had it at 2650, but that was at 85% eff.
