My Posts This: Topic  Forum		Ive never used governor mode on either my 500 or 600 due to what ive read on these forums about it not working.((I often wonder if I should try it just to know for myself it it works or not))

What Im trying to get my head around is how Align sells these esc`s with a governer mode that doesent work, its not as if they just started selling esc`s yesterday, theyve been at this game for quite a while now, its like a car manufacturer selling a car with electonic windows that dont work and just saying "oh well thats just normal, live with it"

Does anyone know why they dont work in Gov? I can understand with the 600e being a relatively low powered machine could make it hard for a gov to doits job, but the 500e on 6s should easily have enough power for the gov to work?

Has anyone had any success useing the Align esc gov mode and how they did it?

But i recently found out but never managed to try this:

The throttle repsonse settings is linked to the gov mode, if you don't have the fastest response i think it may work properly with no twitching.

My Posts This: Topic  Forum		It might be worth a try, I use pheonix sim and its amazing how much easier it is to tic toc and flip when the gov mode is turned on, ive turned the gov mode of on the sim to try and make it a bit more like my real helis.

I imagine if I run 100 flat curves now as I do, with gov mode ide need to run say 90% flat curves and have a slightly slower headspead but it would be more consistant maybe..

My Posts This: Topic  Forum		i used to have it on when i still had me 250 and i honestly could not tell the difference between it and a flat throttle curve with it off... i stopped using it because i realized that it is much easier to just set throttle curves on the radio to get the head speeds that i want...

if your at the tic toc sateg run 100 flat and enjoy.

your asking to much out of a multi purpose esc

The point R38133 is making is simply you or anyone else will never know is the stability the Kontronic Jazz has to offer in gov mode unless you get one. Anybody in the heli hobby knows that any of Align's esc's governer sucks and you will get a tail pulse no matter what you try period. Align has been around long enough to correct the problem but don't seem to care.
Now on the other hand if you really want to be a post cop you have to work your way into being a RR moderator. Play nice now.....

My Posts This: Topic  Forum		i know what his point is and i can understand where that comment comes from had i said "for ANY ESC, i can not tell the difference between governor on and off"... the thread is about Align ESC's and that's specifically what i'm referring to...

it's fine if he wants to recommend the Kontronics but why put it in such a way as "Me thinks they needs to try a Kontronics ESC"... how does he even know that i don't already have a Kontronics...?

None of them exhibit any instructional value or are informative to the topic posted. If you really want to succeed in the Helli sport and get to the point that you too can share, ask questions, and learn. When you get past the hovering stage there will be plenty of opportunities to ask more questions and people will take the time to answer them. Taking the time to post derogatory posts isn't very productive in case you haven't figured that one out.
