hey men, i got my helicommand 3A set up on a joker 2 with the 120 swash settting. everything works right in the tilting of the machine, and all shows up right in the diagnose tab. EXCEPT the collective pitch is revered, when i go full up on collective, the heli does the right thing mechanically, but the diagnose tab says the positive that its going down in pitch. will this cause a problem for me? thanks.

the collective won't cause a problem with a regular HC, but would with a profi, and altitude hold. I'd fix any anyway. Without being near a HC, I think you need to do something like reverse the channel on your tx, and then reverse the channel in the hc settings?

Rhett..... I can't fly, but the Profi sure can.

yea i reverse the tx setting and then it the diagnose reads correctly but the helis head goes the wrong way on the collective. i messed around with many options reversing and so on with all settings with the same results.

will this one thing wrong affect failsafe or position hold on the 3A? the 3A does not try and hold alt (optically) while in position hold does it?

I would get it right before flying. Nooobs should chime in. I can't remember but I think with the Joker I had to switch the servo plugs and re-adjust everything again. Can't remember but there is a solution to the riddle.

On your TX do not reverse any servos. Do all the reversing on the HC software.

You'll have to play with the Mixer and RX&Trim tabs. Make one change at a time and monitor your changes on the Diagnose tab.

Forget about the optical feature on the 3A. That's only good on low level hovers between 3 - 5 ft.

Make sure you've set the swash as shown.

Here are the Mixer tab settings.

Here are the RC&Trim tab settings.

did you reverse the collective channel on your tx, and the reverse the pitch collective channel on the hc?

great thread, I am building a Spectra G and a HC Rigid was included in the purchase. It was set-up for FBLess but I am returning it back to normal. Was thinking about putting the HC on the bird to see how it works

Is there a thread that goes over the HC setup?
