Well, It's time for me to get with the program and finally move up to the Next BIG Thing and invest into my Gasser.

Thru my own research I have decided to go with the Following:

Spectra G - FAI Head
Toxic Stage III 231 PHU Engine
Futaba BLS351 - High Torque Servos Cyclic
Futaba BLS251 - Rudder
Futaba BLS451 - Throttle
Spartan Gyro - Of Course!!!!!!!!!!!
Generator
Batteries - No sure
Main Blades - 720's Not sure of brand yet
Tail Blades - ???
Gov System - Not Sure
RX Futaba 8ch 2.4

Thanks to Mannsfield at my local field for letting me work on his Spectra G and I get to fly it today.

my father just got one a couple weeks ago. It looks like it is going to be amazing. He is in the build process right now.

It's a complex, costly, glow powered anti-gravity machine!

..looks like lots of folk needing counselling

..Re 8-channel futaba rx

..If you have a tx that can do 9+ then may be worth the extra channel(s). If you choose a GV-1 and want to be able to turn it off to see how your curve matches then that's 8 channels... the extra 9th one would be for a remote killswitch if you like that additional option..

Give Mansfield a hard time about flying a good 1/2 mile away in 40 mph winds and tell him Raja sends his regards

Mavrikk G5 710mm blades are very nice, and the length will allow you to use the larger 105mm tail blades. If you use 720mm main blades on the Tempest head, it is my understanding you can only use 95mm tail blades.

Oh, and ask your bank for a higher line of credit. You're going to need it.
