I have been noticing that there are a few synergy airframes only for sale on this website along with other places. I just find that strange. Is there any reason?

Maybe people are getting ready for the N5...except for the engine.

I wish I could fly 24/7

Some people are too scared to fly them due to cost or no patience. The N9 requires a lot of that.

I recently purchased one. Built it, flew for a few weeks until I priced out what the same crash would have been on the Synergy as my last crash with the 700. Yikes flew 2 more times and was so scared to try anything that I have now sold it to a better home. So for me it was crash cost. Still love the Synergy just wish it was close to same pricing. N5 should be so for me that might be a better route.

that's exactly why mine left 1 week after it was bought. that and parts dealers becoming very hard to find parts in stock for the Synergy..

and today almost as if fulfilling a prophecy I crashed my new 700N..

really badly in fact.

if it had been on the N9 woulda been over 800+ bucks..
on the T700N.. $380 counting blades and canopy.

Knowing your skill level ATM, I think you made the right choice Jay.

Not saying that is a bad thing, but the costs can get high very quick.

Sorry about the 700, hope you get back her up soon.

I loved the N9, one of the best looking out...but the damn parts cost killed me. I had a link pop off and it destroyed itself 500+ crash not including blades or paddles.. plus they were a pain in the ass to work on..

I would buy another one if the redesigned a couple things and the parts prices were a little more competitive with other brands... $100 for 2 gears.. thats pretty ridiculous

That does make sense with the repair parts being a fortune. I was looking at them when they first came out and couldn't believe they were more expensive than MA. I flew my synergy a little while ago and I might like it more than my stratus. Its a shame they couldn't make it more cost effective.

You think N9's were a pain in the ass to work on? Yeah Some of the things can be a bit frustrating but overall it's pretty friendly I've found (easier than a stratus ,to me). I've buried mine one time that recquired a frame rebuild and it was not the pain in the ass I thought it would be. The electronics tray and the components just bolted right back on the frame and the cyclic servo's were pretty much the same. How about the fuel tank on the stratus? Nothing like having to pull your heli apart to service a freaking fuel tank.. I think the n9 has probably one of the best instructional exploded view manuals in the hobby. To each his own but I think they are very reasonable to work on.

I just didnt like having to work on installing or pulling the engine/clutch its just not a very good design. After working on a synergy the JR helis are a snap to do anything on.

the n9 should never be compared to a trex. My n9 is faster, more stable, and has more presance in the air than most of the 700 i've seen and flown'including my own that I sold'. Parts being more expensive u get what u pay for/ you have to pay to play. Some one on the fourms said it best trex 700 add locite and glue then shake box wohla. I rather have quailty 'n9' than quantiy '700' besides isn't this a synergy thread? Thanks j
