My Posts This: Topic Forum | I used to work in a body and paint shop and my memory maybe wrong, but Dupont Imron was a polyeurethane enamel best suited for things like alumnium. Nothing used to stick to aluminium very well, but Imron stuck to anything. It was very durable. In fact we had to repaint a truck because the color wasn't the right shade and we actually sanded it the next day like it was laquer. With Dupont Centauri we couldn't do it as soon. But that was over 30 years ago. I'm sure it is different today with water based paints. |
