Replaced the main shaft bearing as it was notchy. Then i installed the bearing block upside down w/o paying attention. Fitted collar at the right place, but collar was not even making contact with the bearing, it was making contact with the bearing case. Went flying. After about 4 minutes I lost tail then after like 3 sec or so tail started to work slowly, (only 7 teeth on crown was left) .....I said F""""" as heli was coming down fast for a total loss....just in time made control when tail started working and got the heli down in one piece. This time nothing was broken except for stripped crown gear and damaged main shaft collar.

Lesson learned that attention to detail is required.

Yes I know. Thats what everybody at local field said.

Just a week ago I changed tail blades to plastic ones to see if any difference and I forgot to install lock nut on one of the blades, went flying and after I refueled and started the engine, one one of the tail blades fell down during to idle vibrations....I am like...ohh I forgot to install the lock nut. But now I take my time and avoid trying different things.
