I was curious if anybody came up with a way to use a 4mm spindle shaft?

I noticed some blade vibration and was swapping blades, it turned out to be a bent spindle, and I can't remember touching anything.

Yah, the stock shafts are BUTTER soft. Since I can straighten them in my lathe I don't mind the spindles being soft but the mainshafts S*CK.

Personally, I prefer the super soft spindles: they prevent other things from breaking in a crash. Besides, I can straighten bent ones in my lathe. However, the super soft mainshafts are junk. I've gone to a different gear/hard shaft set up and it's one of the best mods you can make to a Blade CP IMHO.

I disagree , I hate the soft mainshafts .Before my bird was a scale ship , I could bend the mainshafts in hard 3d flight . They suck and the only other option is the Titanium ones .

I have thought about doing the old school hardening trick . Heat it up red hot then into a bucket of oil .But I have not had the time to try this then indicate after .

I also straighten most of my mainshafts in the lathe .

I hate soft "mainshafts" also.

Did you mean to say "spindles"? In that case we do disagree, but that's ok.
