There's slop in the pitch of your blades, that's the only thing that can cause it. Could be worn dampers, worn ball links, weak servo, worn servo gears, wobbly mixing arms, bent feathering shaft, etc. Hold one blade still and twist the other one and see where the slop is and fix it.

Well I have eliminated everything except for the blades. I'm starting to think that the Thunder tiger carbon blades are defective. I have a new set of Thunder tiger woodies. Will try those and see if this night mare will end. I Had to drag out old reliable today so I could at least fly without woof.(Kyosho caliber 30). The only heli thats hasn't given me any grief so far. It's kinda like the energizer bunny. It just keeps going and going. Gotta get that Raptor fixed, I miss it. When it is flying right, it is totally awesome!!

From your description, sounds like you could run those blades tighter in the grips.

Tighten down till they feel like they are grabbing some when you pivot them back and forth in the grips. Then back off a little on the drag bolt just till gabbiness (word??) goes away.

I believe that tighter blade drag in grip is needed as head speed is increased.

As others have mentioned, drop the head RPMs some also.

He's got the tension right, hold the heli on its side, they shouldn't move. Shake the heli and they should move. They should also be equally tightned, that however won't cause woof. I've never seen TT baldes cause woof, I've seen a lot of older Mavrikk blades (patriots specifically) cause it but never TT.

Also if I had a choice of whether to listen to the team manager for Thunder Tiger, or someone that's telling you that your're breaking the speed of sound, I'd side with the Raptor guy but that's just me.

If you're not a "super wiz, stick banger, monster 3D" type, then a decent analog servo such as the Fut 9202 or JR 4131 will do......

9252's are pretty good, 9452's are close to the same price and have metal gears, for the few dollars difference its worth it IMHO

I have 9202's installed already. If the collective servo is bad. Then I should be able to swap it with one of the others to troubleshoot down. I'm thinking possibly the one on the throttle. What do you think about that?

If it's a 9202 on the throttle, then yes...... that should eliminate or confirm the "bad servo" theory......

If you have the same result after swapping the servo then move on to the "bad blade" theory..... Just do one thing at a time so you know what's what.....

Well I would like to thank everyone for the advice and patience. I have resolved the woof problem. It appears that the problem is the collective servo. I didn't have another 9202. I found a new 3010 and installed it. I set the pitch curves and match each blade to same pitch. The tracking is dead on and the woof has left the house. Yeah!!!!! You don't how happy I am to have my Rappy well again. It is smooth a glass just like I remembered it to be!! Now I need to pickup a better servo for the collective. Thanks especially to Dino and Barracudahocky for putting up with my ignorance. Thanks, Brad

Same problem!

I have the same issue with my R50T, but I've already replaced the collective servo, linkage is not loose, spindle is straight and smooth, shaft is shtraight, (I had to keep the alliteration going) and the darn thing was put together by a helicopter mechanic.

I'll look at some of the other suggestions and let y'all know what is causing my particular "woof"...

CRASH!!

Well, I flew it today and it woofed just a little in the first flight. The local heli guru checked it out and we could not figure out what was causing it with any certainty. I tightened up a couple bolts in the seesaw but neither of us was convinced that this would make a difference.

Regardless, it was worth a try... or so I thought. The blades bogged down about 30 seconds into the flight, the tail spun out of control, and I did not have much altitude to play with. Knife edging into the ground was not good for it, as it turns out.

When I put it back together, I'll try the grip flip.
