My Posts This: Topic Forum | The JR770 will be in rate mode with a gain set under 50%. Heading hold is on when your gain is set above 50%. I run my 770 at around 63% on a Blade400 which is turning 325mm blades, so you will probably be running a different gain, but it probably doesn't need to be much higher than that. I think you may be able to even set it lower. I'm not sure until I recieve(Thurs or Fri) and build my new Logo400, which will run the same size blades as your Vibe500, and then I'll be of more help.
Until then I bet someone else here is running that gyro with a similar setup that can give you a better idea on where their gain is set. But the way you have it set now has you in Rate mode, not HH like you want.
I hope that helps.
