Last week I changed the 70 o-rings to 90 3d o-rings and also changed the black inserts to white 3d inserts. My heli now actually flies better and I love this set up. I am still on the stable trailing link head setup. Also went to only -4 negative pitch rather than -8 and the feel is much better. Also flying with only 1660 head speed, I am getting a whopping 10+ minutes of flying (sports flying only) time (w/o header tank).

Wanted to know if anyone else had tried it.

Also me and my friend are in the process of making a 3mm thick bottom plate in aluminum and wanted to know if anyone would be interested in that.

While playing around with different setups i actually did try this variant. I found that while you do achieve a more crisp cyclic response that it significantly compromised the hover (as compared to the 'stable' setup with soft dampeners and black inserts). This was most notable when wind was 10mph plus.. Since i have many other birds that i 3d with my focus with the avro was to achieve the most stable and predictable f3c setup.. I think the recommended 'stable' setup in the manual achieves this.. just my 2cents
