My Posts This: Topic Forum | A little more than the stock. The tail will sit low so you'll have to compensate with the spacer blocks. That bender weighs over 5 lbs, I weighed it. It popped into the air like no ones business under my Swift. I raised the bender up on some pliers, both sides, then I 'lifted off' until the heli was pulling against the bender handle. Measured the headspeed with an optical tach. When I went to shut down.....oops... I had it in Idle-up2 for max headspeed. Went ot low stick..YIKES. full negative pitch. Overcorrected to mid-stick and, boom, I was in the air with a loose bender hanging under the heli! Well I bobbled around a few times and finally landed unharmed.....
Should've bought a sim. Got a bucket of used blades! |
