Try an inverted auto with a T-rex 700. Also on a normal auto the cyclic isn't right. You'll see what i mean.

It's Weird.

IT's what I do.

When we were testing the inverted auto capabilities this past weekend the headspeed was decaying with +5 collective, so something was definitely amiss. That was with D, havent tried F yet.

Well being that In dont ever.. nor ever will most likely do Inverted Autos.. I have no reference..

Has anybody tried this update yet?

Is it worth updating my 2.0 to the 2.5 version? Are the physics the same or better?

Thanks for your input.

I thought 2.0Q was very good, 2.5 h Beta is well on the way to really being hugh improvement.

It still has several bugs in it but they are being addressed.

So the choice is yours.

I'm glad I made the switch.

Hmmm.... something doesn't feel quite right... The helis are too jumpy and the sounds are terrible! I would rather turn my blender on!

How can we go back to version 2?

Perfectly flyable here no jumpy or jerky cyclic for me..
and none of the auto issues ( ie cant auto anymore) for me.

it autos closer and closer to the real thing can still put it right in front of me tail in every time from over 500 feet up..

very solid.. I think people are mainly having setup related issues.

Phoenix v2.5.k Released

This update is now available for download from our downloads section.

If you have a previous 2.5 version of at least 2.5.f then you can also use the automatic updates system to update to this version.

(Hope they have fixed the FPS bug my laptop got on last update)

<Rant On>

I just love some of you guys!!! You download a BETA, and then complain about bugginess and stuff you perceive to be poor compared to the previous version.

If you have been around Phoenix very long, you know that their public beta program is an ever changing code base. They are very reactive to modifying the beta as we go to address issues.

To whine and complain about the Beta on these boards is silly... DON'T download the BETA if you don't have the patience to work through the Beta Testing Process. You serve yourself and the community better by providing Feedback to the Phoenix folks about your issues.

When the code is stamped as Final Release, feel free to do all the complaining you want if it does not live up to your expectations.
