I'm about 90% done with the heli, just decals and some pop out floats and paint the fins black. The heli is a Thunder Tiger Mini Titan SE with the E325 motor. The heli fuse is a T T 109K2 that I painted after the Era heli. The 4 bladed head is scaleflying new all made in the USA.

My nav lights flash just like the real aircraft do to programing of the lights. I have a red light on top of the dog house. A red light on the bottom of the tail. Your red & green lights on the fins. Two position white lights on the fins that point straight out. They flash 3 times really fast then off then the other side does the same thing.

I have a white nose light that flash when it flight, and a white flood light that I can cut off and on from the Tx. You can some what see them in the photos from the light against the door. I didn't use the mesh decals on the heli. I cut the fuse and added fiberglass screen door screen for this, it added a scale look, and it get more air into the heli.

The in flight pics didn't come out so good to to the movement of the cam, so I will have to redo them, and I also need to make a video of the Nav light when I figure out how to post it on youtube. Take care!

List of things used.

Heli- Thunder Tiger E325 SE
Body- Thunder Tiger 109 K2
Motor/ESC- Stock Thunder Tiger with E325 motor and not the SE motor
Navgation lights- DELight Starter Kit by Dimension Engineering
Battery- Zippy 2200 20c Li-Po
Rotor head- By scaleflying
Blades- Carbon fiber from Hobby City
UBEC- from Hobby City

January,
Looks good, was it hard to paint ? Sprayer or rattle cans.
What extra equipment did you need to make it a 4- blader ?
If you use Calli Graghics, you will need to send them a pic of the real one, their decals are thin & dont raise up too much.
Anyway nice job, January

I used rattle cans! It was real easy to paint, because the fuse had a clear plastic on the outside. I just used a pen to put my lines on the outside, and then put my masking tape on the inside and lined everything up. Any over spray on the outside of the fuse just came off when you would pull the clear plastic off the outside.

The head was a bolt on and fly. I did have to make up the pushrods. I have a member in my plastic model club that makes decals, that's super thin for the people who can't mess with the water slide decals that come in the plastic model kits. On my BO-105 AirMed I used water slide decals on the whole heli, and it worked out fine. the model is 5 years old and still looks like it was done yesterday. Thanks! Take care

Sweet! Does it fly pretty stable or do you have to work at keeping it steady?

The heli stays where you put it as is. I'm looking to do the T T Cobra soon with a 4 bladed head with scaleflying new 4 bladed tail rotor to see about making it into a Viper. Take care!
