Just thought I would share some pics of my new Titan SE. I love this bird!!!

I know the canopy looks like crap. I was having a real hard time seeing that Blue unless lighting was perfect. So I added some yellow vinyl to it... in the process screwed up some of the paint. Oh well, I am sure it won't be long before I crash it and will need a new canopy anyway. I threw some vinyl on the tail as well, really helps it stand out.

Did you buy those special "CAT NIP" tail blades. Wow the yellow really makes that canopy POP out. I like it.

Bring back the rotary phone so we don't have to press "1" to proceed to ENGLISH.

The cat is trying to tell ya the tail is not mechanically sound. Better check it out, he found an issue...

I do like the canopy, looks good. I may have to get another raptor.

The weekend after these pictures... I put it in.

Ejected the battery right through the canopy.

Parts replacement list:

Battery
Canopy
Main Blades
Fuel Tank
Feathering Shaft
Main Shaft
Main Shaft Bearings
Dampers
Main Grips
Oval Links
Double Links
Flybar
Tail boom
Tail belt
Tail shaft
Tail Boom supports
Tail control rod
Landing gear
Right side frame
Muffler
MultiGov Pro plastic case, destroyed, but I was able to heat shrink it like they do the normal MultiGov and it works just fine.
3 Servo wire ends smashed... fixed with new ends.

Geesh I guess when I reflect back on that list, it was pretty screwed up.

It is back in the air today to find my new muffler screws stripped out after one tank, it got ejected from the bird at about 20 feet up. I think a blade edge or blade grip hit it and really sent it flying. Luckily I auto'd it down with out any other damage.

I allways put lock nuts on the bolts, even if its a new pipe.People have the same problems with the top brand pipes like the MP5 ect...IMO lock nuts are a must.I had to replace my piston and ring when this happend to me so make sure you use lock nuts..

Lesson learned... the pipe is now in place with 40 MM bolts going all the way through with Lock Nuts in place. It is the pipe from my big crash, it only has a little dent. The pipe that flew off today, well it had a big dent, and even bigger one after my foot smashed it into the ground.

Be VERY careful with Aluminum servo horns. They look nice but give the servos a beating when the heli goes in. There needs to be a weak point to take the impact and I'd rather it be a $2 servo horn than $140+ 8717's. Just a thought.

RayoVac-
Nothing for nothing but I do believe that your new Raptor SE ejected the battery due to the ALIGN Velcro strap holding it in place.

(Just kidding with you buddy)
It's like a form of "Cross Breading"
The new Raptors will reject any Align component....

Dammit... I wondered if that stupid Align strap was the culprit. I thought I heard a coughing sound just prior to the "mishap".
