How much does that CC25 weigh? Those servos sound unbelievable.

Bob,
Not really sure what the Pheonix weighs. Not much more than the thunderbird Id guess.

Have you ordered your DS450's yet?? Might as well get a couple of sets. . . ..

I'll bet the 3114s are just fine. I only went with the DS450 because I was having flutter problems with the bling head and wanted to absolutey zero out any control slop and have the extra torque.

If I hadn't had the flutter I'd never have gotten the 450s. The aforementioned flutter is LONG GONE by the way

I rebuilt the Razorblade with my motor that was repaired by Neu. The problem with the motor was that the rotor 'threw a magnet' according to the repair tech. Seems OK now. The finished weight of this new heli without a battery is 248g. I haven't really flown it much yet but will report as soon as I do.

The Medusa tail motor is much better than the Feigao. I liked the Feigao real well until I got the Medusa, then I bought several more Medusas for the other blades.

Hey diesel and Buildem, is that a photo of you guys at the San Diego Fun Fly in issue 22 of RC Heli magazine? I think it's the issue I just got but it says 'April 2009' and it covers the May 2009 fun fly. I can't figure the timing out but I thought I'd ask.

That's at Woodley field in Encino? That's a pretty big event and there should be a lot of good pilots there. Are you guys going for several days or just one day?

I may try to make it then on Friday. I may check with you to see it you're going. That's a busy field; are they closing it to airplanes for the whole weekend?
