It was a E325, I upgraded it to the SE, but still wanted to use the motor do to I didn't need all the power the SE motor has for my scale 109 K2. I'm still waiting on my paint to come in any day now to paint the clear body, so that's why I have the fish head on it. Take care!

WOW!!

Im truly impressed. It looks like the Blades are tracking nicley to. Was you able to have it really close(tracking) on the bench, or was it alot of test and tune?

I truly love your design, and the landing gear, that is just so great looking. Could it retract, or is that asking for to much out of a 450?

How about your tail set up, are you going with a stock set up, or are you using a multiblade tail set up to?

The head is from scaleflying. It's there new all made in the USA head. It flies fine as is, using Hobby City $14 carbon fiber blades. I'm using is the stock E325 motor with stock ESC with a UBEC from Hobby City. The use of the UBEC is do to I have all digital servos and will have full working Nav lights with spot light. Take care!

I did tracking like you would do a 2 bladed head. I had my one master blade to set the pitch. I then powered up the heli a little do to this was at night, and I was in my house to see how bad things was off and took some neon orange vinyl decal and put it on the tip of one blade and made my way around till all was good.

When I was able to test it outside at a higher rotor speed it was now off a little and I do mean a little. You can't see in the pics, but it's a little off. This heli is going in my T T 109 K2, and the real K2 the wheels don't retract, but they do have 450 with retracts. For the tail it will be 2 bladed do to this is what the real one has. My paint came in today, so I will have to get everything ready to paint the clear body fun fun fun "NOT"! Take care!

WOW!!! that is just way to cool!
For scale purposes, I've always wondered if you can lower those heads seeing as they don't have a flybar.

Thanks! I'm done with all the painting, and it came out real good.I still need to get some decals made do to this will be a S.A.R Era heli. I'm now working on the Nav lights right now.

I got all the lights flashing to scale now, and about to start on making a nose housing mount for the nose light, and a mount for the bottom facing floodlight. I will post a few pics soon. Take care!

I'm not using any kind of electronics to fly the heli. I just bolted on the head and went flying. Take care!
