Aloha everyone

The MultiGov Pro was connected this past week on my Aeolus 50 3D. I did the setup. Got a half tank in without the MultiGov Pro engaged yesterday. Set the heli down. Cut the OS50. Engaged the MultiGov Pro with programming card and . . . What a difference! I will be definitely using the MultiGov Pro from now on.

Here are the photos of the updated placement of components and cleaner look of the rerouting of the wires

The last photo taken showing the top of the heli. Notice from my other thread, I moved the voltage regulator switch from the top of the electronics pod to the lower part of the right side frame. No more rubbing the canopy causing the rounding of two of the corners of the switch. What that did for me was that it was easier to get to the switch to turn on/off and light the glow plug when the canopy is on the heli at engine startup.

Interesting looking heli you got there.

You may want to relocate that header tank where it can hang horizontally or secure it well so it doesn't slip out of the bracket from vibration.

You will love the MultiGov.

Hi ceglobal!

You can mount the header tank next to the main tank by using
quicuk header tank mount kit.

Good Point

rexxigpilot

Good point about securing the tank well. Although the tank fits snug in the bracket to a point where I have to use some force, I can see over time the tank wearing and then slipping out. The header tank works a lot better on the right side of the heli as it gives a balance to the muffler on the left side of the heli. So, a couple of options that I could consider to ensure the tank does not slip out is 1) putting a piece of zip tie in between the tank and the bracket or 2) glueing a piece of plastic or zip tie to act as a stopper above the bracket.

What is your opinion?

Thanks for the suggestion.

I do have a couple of questions for you.

Have you noticed any vibration from having the header tank out that far from the frame?

Did the header tank come with the bracket from Quik UK and did it come with the red grommet?

What do you have onboard?

juha76

I would like to know what electronics, engine, and blades you have onboard your Aeolus 50 3D?

Thanks

Hi

No vibration problems with the header tank. Yes the quickuk header tank comes with the bracket and the red grommet, but the mount kit you have to buy separately.

My Aeolus has futaba s9351 servos for the swash,graupner c577 for throttle,logictech 6100t gyro with 6100g servo,futaba r6014fs receiver,dualsky vr-8l regulator with outrage 2s 2500mah lipo.

Engine is TT redline 53 with hatori 523 pipe, mainblades are
swe 620dc and stock tailblades.

Thanks

juha

Thanks for the info. I will definitely be looking into the QuikUK products. It wouldn't hurt to bling out the Aeolus 50 3D a little!
