Hi Tom..I saw that you are using YS for your powerhouse? Can I check if fitting the Spectrum sensor is a chore or very easy as direct?

Damm..I am too excited and cannot get to sleep and it is now 2am in the morning in my area..

Guys and all senior flyers..

This is my probable likely set up..

8915 aka 8717 all round..
Spartan DS760 with 8900/ BLS251..(yet to decide on which tail servo)
Align HZ non pumped..(very tempting to change to YS and also why I put it out for sale)
Hatori muffler..
690mm Vblade..(I still got one set)
105mm Vblade tail..
4mm Vblade paddles..
AR7100 (I actually wanted to run 6V) Any suggestion if I do not want to run Nimh..??
ATG with spectrum sensor.

Please feel free to comment..I might want to change some of it.

Tm Mugen

Have you looked at the Spectrum 7100R receiver?
it has a built in rev limiter.
Useing this you can plug a lipo straigh into it and feed 7V to the cyclic servos and use the Spectrum step down for the tail servo

Less part and less stuff to go wrong!

We have that setup on our Srimoks and it really looks very clean. with no cables hanging around.

I'll make some pics tomorrow with the canopy off.

Can I check with you what to look out for when using a YS? No need to change anything right except for the starter shaft.

Hey,

Nothing to change. Just take the YS starter shaft out of the box and thread it on.

DVS,
Thanks for the mention... I'm doing a build of the Srimok 90 currently, and I've been most impressed with the quality of the parts, and the innovative engineering that has gone into this heli.

It's been nice out here, so not much progress to report on the build as i've been flying. As luck would have it, I've been doing two builds - one right after the other. The Vibe 90 SG, and the Srimok. It has been interesting to compare the two...

Nice looking kit! I'll be putting an OS91HZ-PS in mine. I've been very pleased with this engine in my 700N.

Hi Tom,

Kind of reminds me of the old TSK days with a modern twist! Looks like a builders machine to me, there certainly is much fun and pride in building such a shiny, unique and complex mechanism. I think I'd cry if I scratched it Thanks for the link, I enjoyed the pictures very much.
