Studying several helicopters, personally I think a low profile landing gear struts really make a heli look sexy. An example of two helicopters:

Logo 600: low profile = sexy
Aurora: tall profile = eh...

its a really clean, simple, effective design. the parts count appears to be very low. it seems to only have what it needs to perform and nothing really extra. If the head wasn't shiny and the canopy not painted you'd almost think the model looked a little bland, but it has the hard parts where they're really needed.

If Matt has over 200 flights on this airframe without issue, then if you set it up correctly I don't see why the common pilot couldn't get as many if not more flights out of it without any major problems.

Matts flying is really big and powerfull. The model sustains a lot of force for a longer period of time through his larger manuevers rather than the quick and brief interludes of smack that some other pilots fly.

I can only hope that the next evolution of the N9 will turn out as simplistic, durable and effective.

great job Matt and congrats on your XFC placing!

btw, on the canopy, it appears that it was primarily designed to be really streamlined and help airflow over the mechanics.

to help reduce it's Fat Basstard chin you could paint it black, or even cut some triangular ducts into it ala' Hirobo Turbulence/SDX.

personally, i think it looks nice, but a custom paint jobs really is where these canopies improve their looks.

flybarless...

one more thing

this model would look and move like a missle with a flybarless setup...

Matt must have popped one on there at some point, maybe at night when everyone's lights were out

VBar or Gyrobot 700/900 on this thing...would be ballistic!

Is there something to be read from that? Or is that wishful thinking on our part?
