My Posts This: Topic Forum | Hey that's cool. Hopefully they'll be a little more durable than the original raven frames. I know they're not meant for crashing, but 2 serious crashes on that raven, and BOTH times I tore the entire head out of the upper frame - along with the upper frame.
Not such a big deal.. Plastic breaks, and helis are made to fly, not crash I get it. It just sucks breaking the upper frame on that raven. Gotta tear the whole bloody thing apart.
Anyways, long and short of it is I think I'm going to start using loctite on the servo screws. I had it screwed in, but I've always been wary of loctite getting into the gears and whatnot. Now I say to hell with it. I've almost been bit once before because of servo screws backing out, now I HAVE been bit. Loctite it is.
Whatever.. Now I get a swanky new heli
That canopy's gonna be the first thing to go though.. Eek.
If it's made to be idiot proof, sooner or later they'll build better idiots. |
