Ok guys, for those of us doing heli tinkering, it may be nice to have a centralized list of the tail boom diameter of every heli with commercially available parts.
I'll start to list what I know (or have found) and if anyone can add to the list, then I will create an Excel spreadsheet and place it in my gallery for all to reference.

Length (if known) can also be included and will be included in the spreadsheet.

I started a list with some of the easier to find info.
Information will be added to the primary message every day and the thread will be closed when it seems that enough information has been collected and no one is contributing anymore.

This thread is priceless to me ...literally. I have an ESKY E-Smart and there are NO tail booms on the North American Continent. This had been a journey let me tell you. Now I know which Tail Booms can be easily modified in length to get me going again.

But mainshafts will vary in many ways.
Not just diameter and length but where they machine the holes or slots. Some are hollow and have rods going up the middle.

I'd bet that it would take 24hrs or less to just post on a particular model and then ask if any other brands fit/work.

For my minair booms, I buy 0.75 dia aluminum tubing from McMaster in 6 foot lengths for my modification work (and replacement). Comes to about $6.00 a boom.. Just another option for mods or replacement.

I think about the hereafter. I go somewhere to get something, then wonder what I'm here after ?
