Been lookin' for some other flyers in this area
I just moved here from Florida and want to hook up with some other heli pilots. Didn't have any in FL and taught myself how to fly. I sold everything before I moved out here and am looking to buy a 50 size heli. Just had some $ come in and I'm debating between a Raptor or a Sceadu. Leaning toward the Sceadu 'cause I had a R30 in FL and want to see what the differences are. Any suggestions?
Lookin' forward to flying with some other heli pilots and hopefully learning more as well.
BTW, I live in Riverside, near La Sierra University and am planning on flying in a couple open fields nearby.
I may try to get out there some Sat. a.m. but I don't know if I want to challange the 91/60 interchange yet (what a clusterF**k!!)
I'm lucky if I can get into the carpool lane and back out again!

Exit Haven of the 60 FWY and go North for a block. At the ARCO station make a right then left after a block. We fly at the open lot.

My Posts This: Topic  Forum		Our group (Inland Empire Rotor & Wing) flies in San Bernardino every Sunday. We usually have a good turn out, almost exclusively helis.

Our site has a large grass field for the advanced fliers and a black top area for beginners, the helis stay very clean.

AMA is required, guests are always welcome.

Looks loke we had about total of 6 heli were on the lot. Not that mine actually took off. I guess I have little more thing setup on this heli.

Overall Scooterpilot was alot of help. Hope he will get a chance come down again when I have my heli ready for him to take look at it.

I'm always there. Not sure what time in the morning though. I have to buy new blades. A small section of covering came off during flight from one of the wood blades and I have to buy replacements. If I can't find any, maybe I'll just tape the ends of the blades to complete the covering. It was nice to meet you all there, even though it was drizzling on and off throughout the day, we were still able to fly.
