My Posts This: Topic Forum | I've just gotten off the phone with Andreas Gabler, the super scale builder and flyer located in Auckland- Glenfield, I think. He and his family just returned today from several weeks away in Germany(showing off the new arrival, Annalisa) and retuned to find their house has been robbed of almost everything- including their car!
He has asked me to post a note right away, since the thieves also took his pc. He will be posting a note himself in the next day or so, but among the gear taken are several of his helis which are distinctive, and one-of-a-kind. Most recently, he had his fleet at the Rumble- and I'll see about getting some pix posted.
Some of his missing helis are-
Hughes 500 Electric Black and grey paints scheme "West"
Bell 47 electric
Westpac Bell 222 Trex450
Plus- one Apache scale fuse kit, from Approach Engineering (one of just maybe 2 sold in NZ)
All of his chargers, batteries, and his Graupner transmitter.
They also cleared out his air compressor, air guns, and even the paints!
Guys- if you hear anything about gear that MAY be part of this break-in- please contact the police to report it. Let's all keep our ears open- this ain't good at all.
