NO cut off hand

If caught, just do what a neighbor and I did last time we caught someone attempting to steal stuff from our cars. Nicely stomped on their closed fists, breaking every finger several places Then turn them over to the police. If asked how they broke their fingers, I guess in our hurry to catch them, we must have mistakenly stepped over them.

Tough?

Naw. More like sadistic. Just think of all the fun they had with both of their hands and most all fingers in casts and splints trying to pick their noses or take a leak or even cleaning themselves after a good messy dump.

No news other than what happened a few days ago. Basically, all I know is that someone was flying a T-Rex 500 I believe in front of a subdivision and was approached by a guy driving a black Honda Civic. The guy offered to sell a T-Rex 700 that apparently was mine. The reason why I think was mine is because this guy says that he saw a black and a yellow Pelican case and some batteries with my name on them (the idiot forgot to remove the labels LOL). In any case, when this guy questioned the guy in the Civic, he took off pretty fast and they coudn't take the license plate number.

At this point in time, I consider all my gear lost. Even if it turns up, it will be trashed at best. Thanks to my sponsors, I have one T-Rex 700 flying now and I'm building another one as I type this.

I still would like to find out who did this and put the jerk(s) behind bars, but realistically speaking, I don't think it will be possible.

I appreciate all the support I have received from everyone. You guys are awesome! It sucks big time when you get all your stuff stolen, it is not only money, but countless hours trying to get everything up and running again.

Bert

or anyone really, if a guy (hopefully the jack...that did this) did what happened in Berts description, have a small disposable camra (just in case) to snag a pic of anywhere near the plate of the car so then you can "de-code" it later and if your lucky, catch these aO's

Its not a crash, its an upgrade opportunity!

That’s crushingly sad. I’ve had people try to talk things out of my car from right under my nose they wanted stuff they couldn’t afford so badly. This hobby can get soo petty sometimes.

I keep a tiny webcam in the car – it looks through a hole in the side of the interior fittings, past the heli and records onto a microsoft Zune with a software patch. (A bit like an ih-pod but not as popular for some strange reason). It’s so funny seeing people pressing their noses up against the car to look at what’s inside, or how they look around before they have a look in the car.

I really hope you get your kit back, heli's are worth more to us than what they cost.

Yeah but the spanned can't ID the thief and if you were there they wouldn't dare...

That's not completely true. You can identify the thief later by the imprint of a spanner wrench on his forehead.

3 years is enough time wasted. Taking a break for a while.
