I wound up with a set of 680V's that he sold to Quicktoy that were included in the heli that I bought from Scott. The blades are mismatched and visable to the naked eye. They are 7 grams different in weight, balance holes are in a different location, one sticker is yellowed, and in a different location. Jeff described them as "used but in great shape" They were in great shape, BUT what he dosen't tell you is more important. THEY ARE MISMATCHED! There is no way to balance out 7 grams.
The RR forum is a remote transaction site, meaning we do not get to inspect items prior to a purchase. There must be honor and assumptions made that items would be matched if it is described as in "great shape"
I have written these blades off, but I will let future buyers see this RIP OFF, and he is being "Jerky" look at his attidude in his PM!!!
I realise I did not buy the blades from Jeff but from Quicktoy. Quicktoy is the one which approched Jeff about this situation. Included are 2 PM"s from Jeff and Scott

| Hi Dr_Doom2
Well the whole point if vblades is that they are sold as perfectly balanced sets. So even though you didn't write " they're a perfectly balanced set" when sold as a set, it falls under the assumption that they are. If it was one or two grams that'd be no big deal IMHO but at a 7 gram difference spinning at 1900 rpms, they're basically useless

[quote]I don't want to sound jerky or anything but I didn't know about that but I didn't make any false statements to you about them. I'm sorry that they aren't in balance but I don't think that you are responsible to the person that you sold them to either. They are used and as long as you didn't intentionally mislead him or make any false statements it's "caveat emptor" ya know. I hope he understands that.
