I think you should consider doing stuff like this for different magazines and make some money out of it.
I dont know of any other person that could do this better than you...

Definately! I went through some of the other reviews and they are all done with great detail. Bravo Rosauro. These reviews are better than most marketing strategies. I'd want you to review my products if I had something to offer.

The beatings will continue until morale improves...

Thanks once again DKTek.

Been doing some testing.

What IF...

...we combine HC 3A and XP3.1?

Well, it works. It's really no surprise. DJI has already tested XP3.1 with VStabi on flybarless successfully. Also XP3.1 on a three blade head.

So I thought well why not test out HC3A? This way you get stabilization on MANUAL mode and still have AUTO mode.

But a slight problem occurs when XP3.1 is in AUTO mode. When increasing throttle the swash would keep rising causing it to bind.

mmmm... more testing...

Or.. just get a profi ( and GPS.. in a month or so), and then you'll have the helicommand features.. and gps hold

Sorry, I just couldn't fight the urge.

Rhett..... I can't fly, but the Profi sure can.

DJI XP 3.1 is really missing flybarless support and tail gyro to my opinion! I hope they are working on that improvment...

Yes they are working on the flybarless.

As for tail gyro I'd rather still use an external one. Just a personal choice.

I have a HC PROFI and the internal tail gyro function is perfect... so why not for DJI XP 3.1?

I see lots of advantages to have all in one unit: less weight, less cables, less chances of system fail... and technically DJI XP 3.1 should be able to do it, isn't it?

less weight, less cables

...negligible IMO. Do you really think the weight saved will make a huge difference in flight time?

less chances of system fail.

Depends how you look at it. If it fails, everything is in one can.
Like I said, it's personal preference.

Personnaly I would think a +$2000 system would be more reliable and accurate than a $200 system...

^^^^^ and some would say a $120,000 Jaguar is more reliable than a $20,000 Toyota; but I doubt that's the case.

On this forum, the best one is usually the one you stand to make some money out of if you can CONvince other people to buy it.

All I know is I have used all of them (minus the Carvec) and if you want a turn key system that works and works real well its obvious which one that is. Or just keep waiting and as the seasons change........

On this forum, people are hyper-emotional about every product that comes to market and spend most of their time whining about products that can't solve their problems.

Fixed it for ya.

LOL, i belive both systems have good things the other dont have and vice versa, there are no such things as best of both worlds, you simply have to choose the product that suits YOU the best, wetter its the price tag or the functionality list...

I would love to test the DJI to compare it to Profi, when they release the flybarless version

Never argue with an idiot, he'll drag you down to his level and beat you with experience...

Daytona, well said.

I would love to test the Profi again if/when they come out with GPS and roll and tilt gimbal stab. Until then I will just keep the flybar on and use the HC Rigd on my flybarless Joker.

Note: Subject to change without notice, terms and conditions shall be set forth and modified by the aforementioned and based on the quality of my cup of coffee.

Speaking of weight, do we have the full weight of the system as fitted to a helicopter yet ? (ie including cables, mount, extra battery etc).

Thank you : I need to know everything extra - including the battery because I have a very strict flying weight upper limit (the UK 7Kg limit).
