This fun fly is probably the best I've ever been too. For the people not here, you are really missing out! Typically Saturday night is the really good night flying...well it's going to be hard to top Friday nights action.

Wow. This year at Snohomish was "wow" x3. There was allot of skill improvement compared to last year. So good to see. Thanks to Matt Botos in lending a helping hand with diagnosing & tuning my OS91HZ engine. What a great learning experience. Looking forward to another wild event a the September Brooks for sure with Team Synergy AGAIN! Woo hoo!

It’s funny coming back to work and everyone asks how was flying, But all I can say is “it was fun” nobody understands. On another note Matt Botos is the Sh*T! Sam2be put on some sweet flying and Timmy “my pit bitch” really stepped up his game! it’s about time his N9 went down….just playing. Check out Westsideheli.com for pictures and videos Coming soon!

Awesome weekend of flying from everyone. It is amazing to see the skill level of all the pilots compared to my first fun fly. Seeing and meeting Matt and Todd was awesome. I caught something while I was there though. The doctor called it PTFFD. Post tramattic fun fly disorder. Coming back to work SUCKS! Oh well Brooks here we come baby!

About as much fun as a guy can have...

Awesome time at Snohomish. Thanks Timmy for the "pit bitch" routine (I mean support) and the no holds barred flying (lower, but how low is actually hitting the ground inverted-at night and flying away?). Great flying by many, spectacular crashes (you know who you are) and then there's Matt Botos who flies big and smoooth. I still cannot pronounce collective management, let alone employ it. Thanks Team West Side Heli for the fooder and camaraderie. Sam2b, Thanks for the buddy box on my 700 with Natedog. We left at 5pm on Sunday and they were still flying. I ended up with an extra blue fold-up table, Sean's flashlight charger and a couple gallons of gas. PM me to collect these back. Until Brooks,

Matt and Nathan

What a blast, one of the best FF's I've been to. Awesome flying by many. Saturday night's flying was a blast. Matt's machine is on some supper steroid type fuel, that thing is the fastest machine I've seen.

Again excellent flying from a lot of people!

Jeff

To hover is divine, the alternative is rather PLANE.

Ditto, single favorite Fun Fly of all time. I had an absolute great time hanging out in our "tent city" with all my friends.

Watching everyone fly was almost better then flying myself. So many amazing pilots at the event. The upside of the smaller flight line compared to Brooks is you get to see more people fly. The trade off being the flight line was constantly busy all weekend. Once a pilot came down you had to start your bird and run out there to beat the other guy!

FYI, for the people who left right after the raffle you missed something extremely cool. A full size MD 500E showing up to give us all a up close look at the heli. Don't worry, I got tons of pictures of it for the ones who didn't make it. The pilot was super nice and stayed for 45 mins to answer questions and show us the bird. And of course we had full size pilot Jeff King there who is a walking encyclopedia of full size heli's and planes.

Anthony, sorry about the blades. Upon watching the videos I did notice the blades holding up headspeed better when I stomped on it.

Here's the crash video...

LOL, Andy ran off with my camera when the MD 500E showed up, so there seems to be some HD video of the landing on my memory card (hehe, Andy was even the first one to talk to the pilot getting out, with the camera running) and a bit of a walkthrough by the pilot in another video segment.

I'm recompressing one of Weylin's flight vids, but next up I'll do a quick splice of the MD 500E vids I have. It may be a few days though, I really cut myself short on sleep all throughout the funfly and need to catch up some.

No worries Andy on the EDGE 603 blades, they were for testing, and I appreciate you giving them a try.

I also have tons of videos, but probably won't get to those until later this week, very busy. I'm going through the 600 pics I took right now and editing, will post those soon on the site.

Thanks to all of our CMHC members who came out and supported our efforts to put on this fantastic event. I'll point out serveral, Garry Jordan, who ran registration, arranged the food vendor, and got those pilot prizes, Chris Bloom who arranged the 3d school and provided trasportation, Dave Kelly of RC Hobbies who donated/sold at cost the Raffle prize, Keith Sowell who did field prep and housed Matt and Todd for the weekend, Reyes Canales our CD who setup the field, Dan Chin who ran the events, and Nick "The Turbine Man" for his demo flights.
I don't know who to thank for the "cool down" periods of rain Friday and Saturday before the nite flying, but let's try for less humidity next time.
Again, Thanks to Tammies for their partication, and of course all you pilots who made the trip to our field and showed your skills.
