Here we morn for a fellow jet pilot. I was at a funfly in wenatchee this weekend it was a beautiful day this pilot was flying beautifully. He was doing some of the tightest high speed high G turn I think I have ever seen even drew a smiley face with smoke. On his second or 3rd flight saturday he rolled over to do a high speed inverted pass and become disoriented he then drilled the ground at 120MPH+ it was ugly. the picture is of whats left. The most astonishing thing was he didn't try and blame a glitch or failure he just said I lost orientation and was too low. FIRST CALSS PILOT. And he also flies helis.

It makes me want to keep a fire extingusher and a video camera in my truck.

It's a complex, costly, glow powered anti-gravity machine!

AMA requires you have at least one fire extinguisher to fly a turbine. I think 2 or 3 from what I have seen

id hate to crash anything with a turbine in it, as by the looks of any turbine mishap , the whole thing burns down , makes a heli crash look as bad as a smudge on a windshield , sorry about the loss

Jeez! I posted a topic about crashing my Vibe 50 and the $300 it cost me to repair. I thought that was an expensive crash but after seeing these tubine crashes I will keep my coments to myself! I saw the price of the turbine alone this weekend and I would be able to purchase two of my Vibes for one turbine. Hectic, do these guys have insurance or what?
