My Posts This: Topic Forum | Eco 8 main gear is a 180 tooth Metric .7 pitch gear. The problem with trying to get a TRex gear on there will be thickness, and you'll have to machine a hub to retro fit if you don't already have an Ikarus hub.
You should still be able to order these gears from Ikarus in Germany, I'd try to get a hold of them directly.
Common crash parts that I keep on had as a whole box of spares includes:
Spindles, Main shaft, main gears, tail shafts, tail hubs, landing gear, booms, and blades.
There are a lot of good custom replacement parts out there as well as this heli is quite mature. Check fxaeromodels.com as I think they still ship internationally. When you order, order a bunch 
I've actually got mine torn down and am going to do a rebuild once I have some time. I miss my Eco 8, it was my first real collective machine and was a great flyer.
I ran mine on 4s with the original german made H8 motor that was a monster (or at least way ahead of it's time powerwise).
