Hi Gang!
On October 16th 17th and 18th,The New Orleans Model Aviation Club will be hosting the 2009 Rippin It On The River RC Helicopter Fun Fly.All who plan to attend need to start making plans as soon as possible as I assure you this event will be lots of fun
Pre registration will start September 1st.All you have to do is PM Me with just you basic info,first and last name,AMA#,address and a contact phone#.This info will be kept confidentThis way when you get here all you have to do is show your ID,sign by your name,landing fee and go fly!
October 16th,
Feild opens at 9:00AM.Early registration will be availble for those interested.Friday will be setup and open flying all day.There will be night flying for those who are interested.
October 17th,
Normal registration will start at 7:00AM for those who did not preregister or did so on the 16th,Landing fee will be $20.00.All pilots must present there AMA card when you register.There will be a seperate line for those who have preregisterd,as stated above,all you will need is your ID and landing fee,sign next to your name and go fly!There will be no impound for 2.4 transmitters but we will have a small one for any 72mhz transmitters that may show up.We will have a short welcome and pilots briefing between 8/9AM just to get everybody on the same page.There will be some demo flights with music by some of our featured pilots as those names will be added soon as the confirmations become availble.Saturday night for those who are interested,we will be meeting back at the host hotel for a trip to the French Quarter/Burbon Street at about 8:30 PM till you cannot take it anymore!
Sunday October the 18th will be open flying all day till.
Food and Beverages will be served by,Redbean's Cajun Cooking
We'll have Raffles for Pilots and spectators.
